M - Mistletoe Workshop - November 16th 2024 - can't guarantee the kisses, can guarantee the fun!

Mistletoe can be paired with Holly and made into so many things - sprigs, sprays, bunches, wreaths, swags - and you only need to know how to make one leaf to create a masterpiece!

Participants will make at least one Mistletoe sprig as a tutor-led group activity during the session, and can then make as many as they wish for the remainder of the session. Such a small group allows everyone to receive almost individual tuition and all abilities are catered for.

If anyone wishes to stay on after the hour is over, and make more flowers, or even a different flower, this can be arranged on the day.

Resin Dip is totally safe, non toxic, and not known to cause allergies (unless you are allergic to nail varnish). As with all liquids containing dyes, participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing.

Provided: 

All tools including wire cutters, wire, tape, acrylic resin dip, beads, crystals etc as appropriate to use during the session.  Light refreshments (typically tea or coffee, cake or biscuits). 

Outcomes:

Each participant will produce at least 1 Mistletoe sprig in the colour of their choice within the allotted time. There will be colours unique to Inion Arts available, including the new Shimmer range.

Cost: £15 per person

Considerations:

There is free parking available, the venue is easy to find, if you find the Dean Garage and pass down between it and The Family Shopper.  Inion Arts is directly opposite The Tea Cosy.

The acrylic resin dip is not poisonous, will wash out of clothing and off skin when dry, but you may prefer to wear short or tight sleeves. The acrylic resin dip is very hard wearing, if treated with care, we have flowers that are 4+ years old and still look as good as new. However, if you squash them the petals may split.  Please bring apron or other covering to protect clothes if you wish.
