A workshop like no other - Inion Arts promises that everyone who comes on a workshop will go away with something beautiful, no matter how “crafty” or otherwise you consider yourself to be. During the session you will learn to make beautiful flowers out of a liquid resin. Each flower looks as if it has been crafted from glass and makes a stunning, everlasting never-fading decoration. These flowers are non toxic and safe around candles, which make them perfect for cake decorations.

Why not come to a Christmas workshop? The illuminated holly wreaths, and the candle wreaths are superb and suitable for children and adults to make. Held in November, these workshops have proved to be a brilliant family occasion! We also do children only workshops during the half term holiday.

A workshop is a perfect activity for Hen parties. The bride and her friends can make a lovely bouquet of flowers or a fantastic cake topper which can take pride of place on the big day. Best of all, they last forever - a truly stunning memento of a wonderful occasion! How about making individual buttonholes – or a bouquet for someone special. Also it can be an activity all the guests can take part in on the day itself – a bit different from a photo booth!

Workshops are for 3 hours and include refreshments, materials and instruction. They can take place in your own home, if you and your friends would like that or in a venue near your home. We hold regular workshops in and around the Andover area.

Not to mention children’s parties, which are perfect for both boys and girls.

From decorating your own crockery sets, with our beautiful melting glazes, to a simple design on a mug, from constructing a unique water garden feature to producing your Dickensian Christmas Village, complete with carol singers – Inion Arts has the perfect piece of bisque ware for you to decorate how you choose. Book yourself into one of our small informal workshops, held in our own garden studio in Binley and you can create something beautiful, functional and unique to you. Look at our bisqueware online and choose what you would like to glaze.

We hold workshops simply devoted to abstract glazing on stoneware, the different types of glaze for different types of clay, the effects achieved by mixing glazes or applying coats of different coloured glaze to a plate for example so you can achieve a set of six plates or mugs with matching but slightly different patterns. A highly personal and visually striking gift, also practical as all our crockery is dishwasher, oven and microwave friendly. Or glaze an outdoor frost-proof garden ornament with a mottled-effect glaze, like the elephant water fountain, also shown in our catalogue. You can also try silk screen printing, carbon transfers, blending with underglazes, fairy dust, sparkle glazes and other techniques!

If you really want to get in with the clay, we offer slip casting, and hand building such as pinch pottery, coil and slab building. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer wheel/hand throwing.

Unfortunately, due to the present situation all workhops have been temporarily suspended. Why not buy a kit instead and make something beautiful following our simple step-by-step video instructions?

Contact us with your wishes and we will do our best to meet them.
